Join HCM this Summer for free, open house and guided tours of Stained Glass Windows in beautiful church buildings in the Highlands of some of our supporting Member Congregations. Churches will be open from 2-4 pm each of two Sunday afternoons in July.

On July 9, 2023, 2-4 pm, open churches will be:

• Highland Baptist Church
  1101 Cherokee Rd.
  “Cloud of Witnesses” windows installed in 1972, designed and created by Robert Markert, display figural Biblical and historical faith leaders

On July 24, 2023, 2-4 pm, open churches will be:

• St. Paul United Methodist Church
  2000 Douglass Blvd.
  These windows, created by the Willet Stained Glass Company of Philadelphia, were installed in 1964 and tell the Bible Stories and the formation of the Methodist Church.

• Chapel at the HCC
  (originally Christ Evangelical now used by Unity of Louisville)
  1228 E. Breckinridge St. (home of HCM)
  Original windows from the chapel construction of 1902. Learn about the history of stained glass and how it was incorporated into religious structures. Guided meditation times will be available as well.

There is no fee but donations may be made to Highlands Community Ministries.
