Churches will be open from 2-4 pm each of two Sunday afternoons in July. \nOn July 9\, 2023\, 2-4 pm\, open churches will be: \n\nHighland Baptist Church\n1101 Cherokee Rd.\n“Cloud of Witnesses” windows installed in 1972\, designed and created by Robert Markert\, display figural Biblical and historical faith leaders\n\nOn July 23\, 2023\, 2-4 pm\, open churches will be: \n\nSt. Paul United Methodist Church\n2000 Douglass Blvd.\nThese windows\, created by the Willet Stained Glass Company of Philadelphia\, were installed in 1964 and tell the Bible Stories and the formation of the Methodist Church.\n\n\nChapel at the HCC\n(originally Christ Evangelical now used by Unity of Louisville)\n1228 E. Breckinridge St. (home of HCM)\nOriginal windows from the chapel construction of 1902. Learn about the history of stained glass and how it was incorporated into religious structures.
