IFAP distributes free food items from the Dare to Care Food Pantry to Highlands residents in need. One order of food feeds a family of four for two days.
While the majority of food comes to us free of charge from the Dare to Care warehouse, local retailers, supporting congregations and personal donations provide critical supplements to keep our pantry stocked. Volunteers are instrumental to our success—if you would like to volunteer, please call 502-451-3695 x213.
Hungry? Our food pantry is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. plus Wed. 4-6:00 p.m. Visit Dare to Care in the Highlands Community Campus at 1228 E. Breckinridge St., at the corner of Barret Ave., 40204, or call 502-451-3695 x260 for more details. Clients can get a food order once per month or US commodities (if you qualify). Fresh produce is available weekly. Proof of address is required.
